CORE is the college and careers ministry of Dahlonega Baptist Church.

We get the name from looking at an atom. If you take an atom of oxygen, and remove some of its electrons on the outer part of the atom, it would still remain an atom of oxygen. If, however, you were to remove one of the protons in the core or nucleus of the atom, it becomes a completely different element. We don’t want to just say we believe in Christ, we want to become more like Him, so we are all about changing the CORE of who we are. That is what this ministry is all about.
